The Quality Assurance Engineer provides support in developing and implementing quality assurance standards and measures within the project. This role also writes test cases/scripts, creates and executes functional tests, tracks defects and fixes, and reports on each's progress.
- Designs and writes Test Cases and Test Scripts.
- Reports to the Project Manager / QA Lead on the testing status of QA assignments.
- Effective Defect Reporting and Tracking of open defects up to closure.
- Assist in the investigation for raised defects and quality concerns.
- Provision of QA execution recommendations to project teams.
- Assists Jr QA resources on QA practices and activities
