About the role

CoreData, a global market research consultancy with a unique collaboration of market research, media, industry and marketing professionals, is seeking a detail-oriented and self-directed Microsoft 365 Engineer who will play a key role for the end-to-end handling of CoreData's IT systems, securing CoreData’s global IT infrastructure, focusing on Microsoft 365 security and administration, onboarding and offboarding users, centralized security logging, firewalls, log-in management, patch management, Ubiquiti® networking perimeter scanning, and penetration testing.

This Manila-based full-time role is best suited to candidates with 5+ years of managing and monitoring Microsoft issues with some Microsoft Defender exposure.

Under the supervision of the Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will collaborate with a Manila-based Engineering team while providing support to CoreData’s regional offices in Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. This role will offer a chance to contribute to the evolution of CoreData’s IT infrastructure, focusing on the implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions.

Duties and responsibilities:

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be monitoring and ensuring the management and security of CoreData’s digital infrastructure, systems, and data. This involves:

	<li>Expected to work independently and to be a subject matter expert.</li>
	<li>Microsoft 365 security &amp; Cloud management</li>
	<li>Onboarding and offboarding users in MS 365</li>
	<li>Centralized security logging &amp; Incident response</li>
	<li>Firewalls &amp; Log-in security monitoring</li>
	<li>Patch management &amp; System hardening</li>
	<li>Ubiquiti® Security &amp; Networking</li>
	<li>Perimeter Scanning &amp; Vulnerability management</li>
	<li>Immediate notification to Cloud Infrastructure Engineer and Chief Technical Officer of any malicious attacks or any anomalies from Windows Defender</li>
	<li>Check for vulnerabilities in computer and network systems by performing active threat detection procedures.</li>
