The Product Manager is responsible for the PnL of the product/s that he/she handles. The role sets direction for the product go-to-market with the strategic objective to generate revenues for the Company.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

<ul>
	<li>Revenue generation - Ensures that the Sales team can effectively sell the product; Helps Sales in crafting proposals/solution offering and close deals.</li>
	<li>Product SME – Acts as the pre-sales support to Sales; Does client presentations with Sales</li>
	<li>Product viability - Maintains the competitiveness and relevance of the product – defines pricing and offering, draws the product roadmap and innovations.</li>
	<li>Operational efficiency - Functionally oversees delivery operations that directly affect PnL.</li>
	<li>Marketing and lead generation – Positions the product in the market. Generates passive and active leads. Handles telemarketing. Provides sales collateral – product decks and sales materials.</li>
	<li>Expansion of product portfolio – launches new viable products as a new revenue stream for the company.</li>
	<li>Partner Management – Manages 3rd party partners – principals and vendors adjacent to the product</li>
	<li>Equips the Sales team through Product Training</li>
	<li>Leads product strategy, GTM</li>
