Ateneo de Manila University (Ateneo) is one of the leading universities in the Philippines. More than 150 years in existence, Ateneo has grown into a major Jesuit institution. Officially it became a university in 1959. It offers over 100 academic degree programmes.

Summary of Work Activities and Responsibilities:

The Multimedia Artist is responsible for creating visually compelling designs and producing multimedia content—including videos, animations, and digital materials—to support the center’s marketing, branding, and communication objectives. This role involves developing creative concepts, producing visual and motion content, and ensuring brand consistency across all digital and print platforms. The position requires both creativity and technical expertise in design, layout, and multimedia production.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

I. Creative Design and Production

<ul>
	<li>Conceptualize, design, and develop marketing materials such as posters, flyers, social media content, infographics, and presentation materials.</li>
	<li>Create and adapt design templates and layouts consistent with brand guidelines.</li>
	<li>Prepare design files for both print and digital release.</li>
</ul>

II. Video Editing and Multimedia

<ul>
	<li>Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging video content suitable for social media, internal events, and promotional campaigns.</li>
	<li>Add graphics, captions, animations, and sound effects as needed.</li>
	<li>Maintain organized file management of multimedia assets and ensure the timely delivery of projects.</li>
</ul>

III. Brand and Marketing Support

<ul>
	<li>Collaborate with the CCE and university marketing and communications team to ensure visual alignment with campaign objectives.</li>
	<li>Assist in the conceptualization of creative strategies for content marketing and social media engagement.</li>
	<li>Stay updated with emerging design, video, and content trends to keep the brand’s creative output fresh and relevant.</li>
</ul>

IV. Administrative and Coordination Tasks

<ul>
	<li>Manage multiple design and video projects simultaneously and meet production deadlines.</li>
	<li>Maintain an organized archive of all design and video assets.</li>
	<li>Support other creative or event-related requirements as assigned.</li>
</ul>

V. Performs other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or any authorized representative.

Multimedia Artist

As a Content Writer at M2.0 Communications, you will be part of our team of storytellers, creating content that shares our story and vision, promotes our brand, and makes an impact across different digital platforms.

 

<ul>
	<li>Develop content for brand clients through the creation of the comms plan, press releases, editorial calendars and other required written outputs.</li>
	<li>Coordinate with the Content Editor and Account Managers to understand client needs and campaign requirements, including any possible challenges in execution</li>
	<li>Provide suggestions and recommendations on how to improve current campaigns.</li>
	<li>Collaborate with the wider team to ensure the successful implementation of campaigns.</li>
	<li>Report to the office once a week every Monday or Tuesday for face-to-face collaboration</li>
