The role of Paralegal is to provide dedicated support to Office of the General Counsel in terms of monitoring the Company’s statutory compliance requirements, general corporate housekeeping, drafting of letters and pleadings (when necessary), liaise with government agencies and attending to other legal related matters (see detailed role description below).

Reporting

The position will report to the members of the Office of the General Counsel and the Senior Legal Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

Paralegal shall be dedicated to support the Office of the General Counsel in terms of monitoring of the Company’s statutory compliance requirements, general corporate housekeeping, drafting of letters and pleadings (when necessary), liaise with government agencies and attend to other legal related matters. Some specific responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:

Monitoring statutory compliance requirements under the direct supervision members of the Office of the General Counsel;

	<li>Submission of compliance requirements to appropriate government agencies;</li>
	<li>Maintain a work calendar for the monitoring of submissions of compliance requirements, meetings or deadlines;</li>
	<li>Acting as liaison officer to different government agencies (i.e. LGU, PEZA, BIR, SEC);</li>
	<li>Conduct legal research,Preparing and drafting letters or other forms of communication, legal documents, pleadings, motions, and other papers involving legal matters;</li>
	<li>Other responsibilities not listed here but reasonably assumed to be a function of the Paralegal’s position/role.</li>

Quality Specialist

	<li>Responsible for the receiving, picking, packing, checking, counting and manual recording of picked stocks.</li>
	<li>Ensures correct and complete items based on item description, lot number and quantity reflected on the pick list and delivery receipts.</li>
	<li>Ensures that necessary documents are complete and available before the delivery.</li>
	<li>Always aim for "perfect picking accuracy", meaning, no missed-out or wrong picking should occur during delivery.</li>
	<li>Responsible for put-away of stocks to ensure that all stocks go to the correct bin locations.</li>
	<li>Ensure proper observance of receiving requirements and procedure of cold chain items.</li>
	<li>Ensures good housekeeping of warehouse area, cleanliness of stocks and packaging materials and ensure that products are properly handled based on Good Warehouse and Distribution</li>
	<li>Practices.</li>
	<li>Updates the Inventory Controller or QMS &amp; Operations Supervisor for any deviation / concerns regarding on the picking or preparation of stocks. Immediately calls CSRs for concerns relating to the stocks.</li>
	<li>Ensures that all pick list and delivery receipts will be signed as acknowledgement of correct picking.</li>
	<li>Reports any incident or deviation during their activities.</li>
	<li>Performs other duties that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.</li>
	<li>Operates Fork lift and other Material Handling Equipments to assist in picking , put away and other warehouse activities requiring Forklift and MHE. </li>
	<li> Dispatch stocks based on documents and ensures actual matches documents.</li>
	<li>Ensure MHEs are properly monitored and maintained.</li>
	<li>Overall in charge of warehouse MHEs ensuring parking on designated areas when not in use.</li>

Summary of Work Activities and Responsibilities:

The Reservations and Logistics Assistant V provides frontline coordination and logistical support for booking inquiries, venue reservations, and guided tours of Areté. The position ensures that internal and external clients are efficiently guided through the reservation and tour process, while maintaining smooth communication with relevant campus offices and personnel involved in venue use and maintenance.

Main Duties and Responsibilities 
I. Venue Reservation and Booking Support

Receives and responds to booking inquiries and requests for the use of Areté spaces

Guides clients through submission procedures, reviewing forms for completeness, and following up on pending permits or approvals in coordination with relevant offices

Assists with onsite needs during client visits or ocular inspections, ensuring all inquiries are addressed

Gathers detailed information from clients regarding event requirements, usage timelines, and technical/logistical need

Prepares and presents a detailed summary of client requests to support evaluation and final approval by the Executive Director and/or the Artistic Director

Communicates decisions to requesting parties

II. Coordination and Logistical Support

Supports logistical preparations for events hosted at Areté, in coordination with clients, internal offices, and service providers

Reserves setup needs ensuring that technical, security, and housekeeping requirements are addressed ahead of the event

Informs the Campus Safety and Mobility Office (CSMO), Central Facilities Management Office (CFMO), and other relevant units of approved events and activities within Areté

Monitors the use of spaces during events to help ensure venue policies and guidelines are followed

Coordinates with internal units (e.g., Artistic Director’s Office, Sandbox Programs, Makerspace) regarding venue availability, ongoing activities, and overlapping space use

III. Guest Relations and Tour Coordination

Welcomes and assists guests participating in Areté programs, projects, and events

Facilitates requests for guided tours of Areté, coordinating tour schedules and ensuring a smooth experience for visitors

Acts as a consistent point of contact for prospective clients, ensuring professional handling of inquiries and feedback

IV. Performs other work-related tasks as may be required by the immediate supervisor and authorized representative

Reservations and Logistics Assistant

FMIDC History

First Multi-Tech Industrial and Development Corporation (FMIDC) was established in 1993 as a trading company supplying a wide range of products, from refurbished aircraft seats to concrete and wooden poles. With the emergence of mobile telecommunications and power distribution in 1998, FMIDC began shifting its product line focus into Automatic Transfer Switches, Transient Voltage Surge Suppressors, Fire Rated Cables, and Generator Sets.

From a small-scale venture, FMIDC has expanded into an enterprise. It became the sole distributor of ASCO Power Technologies in the Philippines. Due to its active presence in the telco industry in 1996, the company developed and pioneered the Comprehensive Preventive Maintenance (CPM) Program for Generator Sets and Airconditioning Systems. The range of services expanded in 2009, covering Telecommunication Works, Site Audit of the transmission system and repair
of the microwave, through Sel Telecom.

In 2015, FMIDC established FMIDC Maintenance and Services Inc. (FMS Inc.). Its mission is to provide facility maintenance and related services to various industries. In 2017, the company moved to its new office building and marked its growth by rebranding. To progress in the digital era, FMIDC became an official distributor of Schneider Electric Philippines and Vertiv’s DC Power Systems. 

With the company’s proven expertise and reliability, FMIDC is a reliable partner for telcos, utilities, contact centers, data centers, manufacturing, residential, and commercial establishments.

The company has already supplied and commissioned 7,000 ASCO Transfer Switches, some packaged with generators, and more than 12,000 ASCO Surge Protective Devices. FMS Inc. also maintained 6,000 cell sites, acquired a nationwide contract in the banking and financial institution industry, and is currently partnering with Common Tower Builders.

First Multi-Tech Industrial and Development Corporation

1. Performs routine preventive maintenance (PM) tasks to ensure that equipment and machines continue to run smoothly.

2. Inspects electrical panels, temperature, rectifiers, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.

3. Inspects and test equipment in order to locate damage or worn parts and diagnose malfunctions, or read work orders to determine required repairs.

4. Repairs and rebuilds defective mechanical parts in generators, air condition unit, and related equipment, using hand tools and power tools.

5. Delivers fuel on site for the maintained generators.

6. Performs other maintenance functions or as required by site special projects which was commissioned by the Operations Division.

7. Reports to maintenance engineer or supervisor site situations that need supervisorial actions or decision (those that are out of scope of the routine preventive maintenance).

8. Ensures that areas/sites of responsibility are well-maintained (i.e., housekeeping, grass cutting, etc.)

9. Performs testing of equipment prior to installation such as but not limited to load testing of generators.

10. Prepares daily and weekly report of PM activities.
