Quality and Sustainability Manager

LCBA is now delivering several programs with 12 laboratory and demo classes per week. In order to ensure the smooth and efficient preparation for and delivery of these classes, the services of a chef assistant is critical.

 
The chef assistant will do kitchen work preparation (mise en place), particularly weighing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, fabrication, etc and cooking of stock, etc. She will also help in supervising the cleaning and sanitation of kitchen and related facilities as well as help in receiving ingredients, proper storage and recording.

Daily the MEP Chef should have:

Project Chef Assistant

The Duty Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring facility management's seamless operation, focusing on sales culture, customer service, expense management, and financial success. The Duty Manager interacts with Guests and contributes to the first impressions of our Guests.

Duty Manager

1. Receive queries, requests, and complaints from clients via phone call 
2. Provide appropriate response to clients and take appropriate action for each call 
3. Provide proper validation and pre-screening of requests 
4. Coordinate with appropriate resource for resolution of urgent concerns 
5. Analysis and handling of critical accounts with complaints 
6. First call resolution by:

	<li>coordinating with Department Managers of concerned units</li>
	<li>monitoring of escalated complaints</li>
	<li>outbound calls to buyers to provide feedback on their concern</li>

Customer Sales Assistant

Summary of Work Activities and Responsibilities

The Senior Residential Operations Assistant attends to the reservation and admission of potential residents and transients, handles their check-in and out, serves as front-desk support, and assists with the general upkeep of the rooms. As the senior member of the team, the position serves as the team lead and recommends work assignments and assists with monitoring the quality of output of the Operations team. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities 

I. URH Reservations, Applications, and Admissions Management

<ul>
	<li>Assists with queries of potential residents and transients and monitors the various communication channels of URH</li>
	<li>Processes reservations of URH rooms and facilities
	<ul>
		<li>Prepares the reservation forms and receives and processes dorm reservation and application, ensuring all necessary documents are in order</li>
		<li>Prepares the acceptance letters and dorm kits, and communicates the house rules to the incoming residents</li>
	</ul>
	</li>
	<li>Updates the URH resident database and prepares present headcount report, including tagging resident students in AISIS </li>
</ul>

II. Facilities Upkeep and Maintenance 

<ul>
	<li>Conducts regular inspection of common spaces and grounds maintenance</li>
	<li>Schedules room inspection to ensure that the general upkeep of the facilities is well-maintained and that needed repairs are coordinated properly</li>
	<li>Coordinates closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor for the URH in ensuring that a high-standard of cleanliness and over-all upkeep of the URH complex is maintained at all times</li>
</ul>

III. Room Check-in and Check-out Management

<ul>
	<li>Attends to the check-in process 
	<ul>
		<li>Coordinates the clean-up of rooms with the housekeeping team and ensures that the rooms are ready for check-in</li>
		<li>Facilitates the check-in process of residents and transients and provides orientation of house rules</li>
		<li>Monitors and ensures that all dormers have their own emergency bag, according to URH specifications, at the start of their residency</li>
	</ul>
	</li>
	<li>Attends to the check-out process
	<ul>
		<li>Coordinates the room check and clean-up to ensure that everything in the room is still accounted for, including the return of room keys</li>
		<li>Coordinates with the Office Assistant for Collections and Inventory Support to ensure that residents and transient guests have fully settled their bills prior to check-out</li>
	</ul>
	</li>
	<li>Monitors the appliance/s brought in and out by the residents 
	<ul>
		<li>Manages the residents’ submission of their Applications Declaration Forms</li>
	</ul>
	</li>
</ul>

IV. Frontline and Office Support

<ul>
	<li>Attends to inquiries of potential residents and the requests of the residents from various URH communication channels</li>
	<li>Accompanies the parents/visitors in touring the URH facilities</li>
	<li>Routes URH memos and announcements from various communication channels to the residents and transients</li>
	<li>Rotates work schedules with the other Residential Operations Assistants in the provision of services to URH residents 24/7</li>
</ul>

V. Team Lead Functions

<ul>
	<li>Organizes work of the Residential Operations Assistant by scheduling and assigning rotational shifts</li>
	<li>Serves as a guide on how to attend complex situations before escalating to the Assistant to the Director for Operations</li>
	<li>Consolidates all records of concerns brought to the attention of the URH administration team via the front desk, and makes an initial analysis and recommendation from the collected data</li>
	<li>Oversees the lost and found system of the URH, including an analysis of how to prevent loss</li>
</ul>

VI. Performs other work-related tasks as may be required by the immediate supervisor and authorized representative.

Senior Residential Operations Assistant

The Director of Banquet and Event Services at the SMX Convention Center is responsible for overseeing the seamless execution of events, banquets, and exhibitions. This role involves fostering a sales-oriented culture, delivering exceptional customer service, managing expenses effectively, providing leadership, and supporting the overall financial success of the convention center. Additionally, the Director is responsible for accrediting caterers and booth contractors, ensuring supplier compliance, and collecting valuable event feedback.

Director of Banquet and Event Services

1. Financials

a. Oversee and monitors the Gross Operating Profit (GOP) of the branch to achieve its yearly target.

b. Monitor the departmental expenses to control its usage and savings

2. Operations

a. Ensures that all LGU requirements (such as OSH, Fire Safety, etc.) are completed and updated

b. Ensures that the food and safety hygiene from all caterers are up to SMX standards

c. Handles current and new accounts and ensure consistent increase in revenue

d. Creates other revenue generating ideas for the branch

3. Customer Service

a. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and concerns during events

4. Leadership

a. Collaborate with the VP - General Manager to develop and execute operational strategies aligned with organizational goals.

b. Oversees all team members and ensure their work satisfaction is up to their standards to control the retention percentage per year

c. Plans and coordinates with the team members to ensure their training requirement compliance and ensure their growth and development

d. Coordinates with the HR department for all recognition programs to motivate employees, including agency hires for their encouragement

5. Other tasks

a. Supports VP - General Manager in tracking strategic initiatives, projects, and activities

b. Prepare reports according to established formats and guidelines.
