Who We Are 

The Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) is a non-profit organization established by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) in 1966.

Founded in 1965, SEAMEO is a chartered international organization whose purpose is to promote cooperation in education, science and culture in the Southeast Asian region. Its highest policymaking body is the SEAMEO Council, which comprises the Ministers of Education of the 11 Southeast Asian countries.

The Center derives its juridical personality from the SEAMEO Charter and possesses full capacity to contract; acquire, and dispose of, immovable and movable property; and institute legal proceedings. Moreover, SEARCA enjoys in the territory of each of its member states such privileges and immunities as are normally accorded United Nations institutions. Representatives of member states and officials of the Center shall similarly enjoy such privileges and immunities in the Philippines as are necessary for the exercise of their functions in connection with SEARCA and SEAMEO.

SEARCA has embraced the rhythms of change. Its Tenth Five-Year Plan (FYP) has directed SEARCA to move away from "business-as-usual" strategy as it no longer suffices in coping with the increasing complexities, uncertainties, and nonlinearities of its constantly changing environment. The "new normal" conditions in Southeast Asia compels SEARCA and all of its key partners to initiate anew a paradigm shift towards accelerating transformation through agricultural innovation (ATTAIN) in its Eleventh FYP.

Job Summary: 

Performs comprehensive technical and administrative support for the Office of the Director (OD), including critical review of all documents submitted for the Center Director’s approval, such as proposals, reports, memoranda, and all other submissions. 

 Key Responsibilities:

The Internal Audit and Financial Risk Management Director provide leadership and direction on the strategic implementation of a program of risk-based internal auditing. It directs the overall operations of the internal audit office.

The position reports functionally to the Chairman of the Audit and Risk Management Committee (ARMC) and administratively (day-to-day operations) to the President. It is responsible for maintaining an internal audit function that provides the ARMC/Board of Trustees (BoT) and management with an ongoing assessment of the University’s risk management and internal control systems and recommending corrective action as needed (in the “provider of assurance” role). It also participates in policy and system initiatives that management may undertake to promote integrity and efficient use of resources where there is no conflict with the assurance role (in the “provider of consulting services” role).

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Internal Audit and Financial Risk Management Director

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 
I. Provides frontline and Logistical Support to the MEQAU committee

<ul>
	<li>Assists MEQAU Chair in overseeing and monitoring the implementation of quality assurance activities such as but not limited to the following; evaluation of modules, evaluation of faculty stakeholder surveys, internal quality assessment, external accreditation, and other quality assurance initiatives</li>
	<li>Facilitates the process of module and faculty evaluations by the students across all year levels and collates and organizes all evaluation data for review and analysis by the MEQAU using existing evaluation tools and platforms used (i.s. Google Forms, Canvas, etc)</li>
	<li>Facilitates the process of module evaluation in Canvas or other platforms applicable by the assigned students </li>
	<li>Facilitates the process of faculty evaluation in Canvas </li>
	<li>Recommends improvements in the module and faculty evaluation process as needed</li>
	<li>Ensures that the evaluations are accomplished promptly by the assigned students by coordinating with the year-level administrative assistants and module coordinators.</li>
	<li>Coordinates and corresponds with the OAD, OD, OSA, and other respective offices for quality assurance concerns (i.e. data gathering, submission of reports, etc.) and external accreditors and institutions</li>
	<li>Provides secretarial and clerical support to the MEQAU head and its members</li>
	<li>Oversees the work schedules and appointments of the MEQAU</li>
	<li>Coordinates appointments and meeting schedules of MEQAU with school administrators, YLC/AYLC/faculty, students and other stakeholders (internal and external)</li>
	<li>Drafts memos, correspondence and other communication materials</li>
	<li>Serves as receptionist, attending to the various stakeholders of MEQAU</li>
	<li>Attends to queries and requests, and coordinates the flow of information internally and with other department/organizations concerned</li>

II. Financial Management Support

	<li>Processes and coordinates financial transactions, payments, and purchase requisitions of MEQAU, obtaining necessary approvals and documents</li>

Summary of Work Activities and Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Section Head of Registration Services and Student Records, the Records Officer assists students, alumni, parents, higher education institutions, government and private agencies in providing information/guidelines on registration procedures/processes, implementation of approved curricula, and student evaluation. This position also coordinates with Chairs, Program Directors, Secretaries of various academic departments, offices, and affiliated units regarding procedures and policies implemented by the Registrar’s Office.

IV. Curriculum Processing

	<li>Partners with the Assistant Registrar in proofreading curricular proposals</li>

	<li>Maintains updated CHED-approved curricular programs of the graduate school, undergrad and ensures that these are properly disseminated and encoded</li>

Graduate Internship Program

AboitizPower

The position holder is responsible for managing assigned project area or items in the end-to end origination and/or project development, including identifying and closing an offtake agreement, and/or dovetailing a greenfield, brownfield, project acquisition, or land for development, to supply the offtake agreement, and collaborating with different members of the project management team in order to bring a project to construction phase, and expand the project portfolio to achieve the growth objectives of ARI. 
 
Outcomes Expected and Responsibilities:

	<li>Manages the identification, initial analysis/assessment of the land banking, or project opportunity for a renewable energy project.</li>
	<li>Implements the company's origination and/or project development growth strategy in the RE space.</li>
	<li>Identifies, analyzes, negotiates, and executes structured commercial transactions as part of the origination strategy/business development.</li>
	<li>Identifies or sources internal or external projects and negotiates and closes the transaction for external projects.</li>
	<li>Expands the pipeline of land possession, and project development opportunities by generating high quality leads.</li>
	<li>Works closely with the Renewable Sales Team, ARI PD&amp;E, Commercial, Portfolio and other support teams to develop sales and project proposals.</li>
	<li>Manages and leads in the review of commercial documents such as term sheets, 
	transaction, and other project documents needed for a project in collaboration with 
	other teams.</li>
	<li>Identifies business opportunities and builds professional connection from all sources 
	(public offerings, trade publications, leads from consultants and advisors, 
	conferences, professional organizations) through constant networking</li>
	<li>Conducts data gathering activities and analyzes of industry information related to 
	requirements, technology, regulatory, new policy development that will support in 
	developing business strategy.</li>
	<li>Understands the market capacities, pricing, competition, and other market factors in the On-Grid and Off-Grid sector.</li>
	<li>Monitors existing and potential competitors in RE space including technology, 
	partnership and service providers.</li>
	<li>Develops and checks CAPEX and OPEX assumptions for financial models of projects, risk analysis, and investment presentations for management approval</li>
	<li>Responsible for keeping updated the information deck on relevant progress, risks, 
	and challenges on the projects.</li>
	<li>Monitors, controls, escalates and secures approval on budget spending for Project 
	development.</li>
	<li>Identifies and manages Project resource requirements, both internal and external, 
	including building up development teams.</li>

Site Acquisition Manager

As an Enrollment Specialist, you will be responsible for receiving documents from the branch, CRG, and BG, and reviewing Digibanker documents. You will also be responsible for requesting confirmation from the client’s authorized signatories on the enrolment of simple products or services to be availed.

How you'll contribute

	<li>Receives Digibanker documents forwarded by clients through CMS Online Portal, endorsement of CDC, branches, or other units and department via GSD and foot messenger</li>
	<li>Verifies completeness, review, and do signature verification on the documents forwarded by Client, Branch, Banking Center, Corbank, or CDC before client or account enrollment and maintenance in SBC Digibanker Backoffice system or Cash Port</li>
