Kalibrr 

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance &amp; Accounting Associate to support day-to-day financial operations and help maintain the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This role is ideal for someone who’s early in their finance career but eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

<h3>Responsibilities</h3>

Invoicing

<ul>
	<li>Assist in preparing, reviewing and issuing accurate and timely invoices to clients.</li>
	<li>Monitor and track invoicing schedules to ensure timely billing and revenue recognition.</li>
	<li>Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure invoice accuracy.</li>
</ul>

Payroll

<ul>
	<li>Support the preparation and processing of payroll for employees in compliance with local labour laws and company policies.</li>
	<li>Assist in verifying employee and payroll data and preparing necessary reports.</li>
	<li>Help ensure timely disbursement of salaries and payroll-related taxes and contributions.</li>
</ul>

Collections

<ul>
	<li>Monitor accounts receivable and support follow up with clients for outstanding payments.</li>
	<li>Implement effective collection strategies to reduce overdue accounts.</li>
	<li>Maintain detailed records of communications with clients regarding payment terms and disputes.</li>
</ul>

Tax Audits and Compliance

<ul>
	<li>Contribute in the preparation and filing of accurate tax returns, including VAT, income tax, and other statutory filings.</li>
	<li>Assist in internal and external tax audits by preparing documentation and liaising with auditors.</li>
	<li>Stay updated on tax regulations and help ensure compliance with local and national tax laws.</li>
</ul>

General Accounting Support

<ul>
	<li>Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.</li>
	<li>Assist with reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.</li>
	<li>Help provide financial analysis and reports as required by management.</li>
</ul>

Required Qualifications

	<li>Minimum 2-3 years of relevant bookkeeping experience.</li>
	<li>Familiarity with QuickBooks, Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel</li>
