Job Description
The Specialist for Environmental Management (EM) is responsible for the following:
● Providing support in the design of EM governance to build and sustain a pro-active environment management culture
● Providing support in the implementation of EM programs. and recommending improvements to align BU EM programs with the established 1AP EM programs
● Evaluating the effectiveness of environmental compliance programs and corporate standards through audits and regular performance assessments.
● Assisting and coordinating with BU Envi focal points in Environment-related Stakeholder engagement activities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or any 4-year science related course
At least 3 years’ experience in industrial environmental management in multinational power generation, oil and gas, chemical, or related hazardous industries
Experience in implementation and audit of EM programs
Knowledgeable on Philippine environment nationaland local laws and regulations (e.g. DENR), third party EM standards and SHE technical process hazard assessments
