Scrum Master  

Forecast sprint capacity using team velocity, holidays, and resource availability

Plan and prioritize sprint work to balance workload and meet UAT and release deadlines

Facilitate daily stand-ups, identify blockers, assign owners, and escalate issues promptly

Lead Three Amigos sessions to ensure requirements clarity before development begins

Participate in backlog prioritization and sprint scope planning to avoid overcommitment

Coordinate user availability for UAT and manage release readiness activities

Ensure all required approvals are secured before production deployment

Communicate confirmed release dates clearly to business stakeholders

Maintain high standards for ticket quality and Agile delivery discipline

Prepare weekly internal delivery status reports and monthly stakeholder updates

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile delivery lead

Strong knowledge of Agile / Scrum frameworks and ceremonies

Mandatory experience in Insurance P&C Policy Administration Systems

Understanding of insurance principles and their application to system development

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Strong stakeholder management across business and technical teams

Ability to work independently with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

Willingness and availability to work UK hours and UK calendar

Preferred Skills

Experience working with UAT-heavy delivery environments

Strong release planning and dependency management skills

Background in regulated or enterprise-scale environments

Familiarity with ticketing tools such as JIRA or similar Agile tools
