We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AutoCAD Architectural Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential interior design, able to produce accurate and detailed technical drawings, plans, and elevations to bring interior concepts to life.
Minimum Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and develop detailed AutoCAD drawings for residential interior design projects.
- Prepare accurate floor plans, sections, elevations, furniture layouts, and detailed specifications.
- Collaborate with interior designers and project managers to understand design concepts and translate them into technical drawings.
- Ensure drawings comply with studio standards, and client specifications.
- Revise and update drawings based on designer feedback and project changes.
- Maintain organized drawing files and documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as an AutoCAD Architectural Drafter, preferably in residential interior design.
- 5+ years proficiency in AutoCAD software is a must.
- Strong understanding of interior design principles, and construction documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret and execute design concepts into technical drawings.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple projects and clients concurrently while meeting deadlines.
- We are a US-based studio, so proficiency in written and spoken English is a must.
- This is a remote position only.
