Job Description

Our Inbound Marketing Specialist is responsible for implementing marketing campaigns across multiple channels - Emails, Web banners, Advert, Landing Pages, Blogs, Social Media Ads to clearly defined processes and timelines. He/She is also responsible in working closely with the internal and external team.

His/Her key roles are the following:

● Strategise and execute book campaigns with the primary objective of generating revenue through the e-store

● Strategise and execute Lead Generation and Retention campaigns with the primary objective of generating new leads and retaining existing ones

● Work with the editorial, adsales team and marketing executives to optimise campaigns

● Create reports and analysis in terms of the performance of the campaigns & enewsletters

● Ensure that all campaigns and enewsletters are reported accurately and regularly

● Update e-store pages as necessary via Magento and SquizMatrix

● Create and manage database and data filters via Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, & FastStats

Core Functions

● Implement marketing activities to plan following standard processes for end to end campaign execution:

○ Campaign Schedules and campaign management tools

○ Campaign conceptualisation

○ Creative brief for Creative Techs and Designers

○ Email and landing page set up / text versions

○ Uploading emails and data

○ Create and cascade data list selections via Salesforce Marketing Cloud, FastStats and PeopleStage

○ Testing emails in browsers

○ Checking data quality

○ Uploading marketing material to online assets

● Work closely with key stakeholders – marketing executives and managers, editorial teams and Ad sales team to ensure campaigns and e-newsletters are implemented to a high quality and following the brief

● Work with various teams in implementing improvements to marketing campaigns

● Support marketing activity needed for events and other collateral needed to support the go to market plans

● Comply with marketing standards and follow set processes for routine work

● Ensure high-quality and accuracy of content and product information across various marketing collaterals

● Contribute ideas for improving marketing standards and processes

● Track and review the performance of campaigns across all channels. Application of recommendations based on data analysis. Identify opportunities based on data analysis

● Compare earnings of all campaigns and apply learnings to other print marketing campaigns to increase revenue

● Inspect customer information through Genesis

● Able to audit, update store banners, create category/sub-category pages, create/update product pages on the e-store using Magento and Squizmatrix

● Document team processes

● Orienting a colleague on specific skills or tasks required for onboarding

● Maybe assigned to perform other related duties from time to time (Updating of Adverts, Direct Mail, or any other collateral that needs updating, setting up tracking and vanity URLs, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience:

● Bachelor’s degree preferably in Communication Technology, Marketing, Mass Communications, Development Communication, Information Technology, Linguistics and related courses

● 1-2 years work experience in digital marketing. Experience with using digital marketing apps for social media, email marketing, and marketing automation software e.g. Marketing Cloud, MailChimp, HootSuite, Facebook, YouTube, Google Analytics

● Propensity to familiarise tools and systems used for marketing (e.g. Marketing Cloud, Hermes, FastStats, PeopleStage, Genesis, Magento, Squiz matrix, etc.)

● Excellent attention to detail

● Excellent quality assurance skills

● Numerate and analytical ability

● Experience of interpreting data (e.g. Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, etc.)

● Strong communication with good influencing skills

● Basic understanding of HTML and user experience analysis

● A team player with a real focus on delivering results

● Knowledge of data processing (e.g. FastStats, PeopleStage, Genesis)

● Able to effectively multi-task without compromising quality and turn-around time

● Competent in using Microsoft Office suite and Google apps such as spreadsheet, docs and slides

● Experience in improving processes and new ideas

● Knowledge of basic marketing principles, core marketing/customer journey and commercial models

● The aptitude to quickly understand information, business models and the marketplace

● Understanding marketing trends, best practice and how to use them

● Problem-solving skills

● Has a thorough understanding on Marketing Cloud Content Builder and Data Filtering

● Amenable to work mid-shift (4pm-1am PHT) on a hybrid work set-up (2x a week onsite)
