Job Description

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Write clear job descriptions and manage recruitment for key positions.
  • Work with team leaders to forecast hiring needs based on workload and training schedules.
  • Use digital platforms to find and attract candidates.
  • Screen resumes and coordinate interviews.
  • Prepare job offers and contracts.
  • Lead the onboarding process, working with IT and Accounting to set up new hires.

Employee Records

  • Maintain and update employee files and records.
  • Monitor employee reports, leave balances, and contract expirations.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Create competitive pay structures and conduct salary surveys.
  • Manage merit increases, bonuses, and incentive plans.
  • Administer employee benefits programs like health insurance and government contributions.
  • Act as the contact point for benefit vendors.
  • Oversee benefits enrollment and renewals.
  • Ensure employee data is uploaded to the HR payroll system.

Payroll and Timekeeping

  • Calculate and process regular bi-weekly/monthly payroll for all employees
  • Compute salary adjustments, bonuses, allowances, and other variable compensation components
  • Verify and process approved overtime, holiday pay, and other premium payments
  • Implement salary increases, promotions, and other compensation changes
  • Generate and distribute pay slips while addressing payroll inquiries from employees
  • Reconcile payroll data before and after each processing cycle
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive compensation information
  • Administer time and attendance systems to ensure accurate tracking of work hours
  • Review and validate employee time records, addressing discrepancies promptly
  • Process attendance data including regular hours, overtime, leaves, and absences
  • Generate attendance reports for management review and decision-making
  • Train employees and managers on proper use of time tracking systems
  • Implement attendance policies consistently across the organization

Employee Performance Management

  • Works with Management to conduct periodic performance evaluations
  • Employee Regularization
  • Issuance of Disciplinary Action, NTE’s and Performance Improvement Plan
  • Career Path Planning
  • Train managers and employees on performance management processes, effective goal setting, and constructive feedback techniques
  • Coach managers on handling difficult performance conversations and addressing performance gaps

Employee Offboarding

  • Conducts exit interviews, coordinates resignations and last pay with accounting,
  • coordinates resignations with IT so user accounts can be properly deactivated, oversees
  • clearance of resigned employees/existing consultants, etc.

Training & Development Planning

  • Designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive learning initiatives that enhance employee skills, improve performance, and support organizational goals.

Labor Relations

  • Main point-of-contact for employee/labor relations
  • Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures.
  • Strict implementation of company policies and processes.

Employee Engagement and General Assistance

  • Prepares and cascades announcements
  • Caters to employees and ex-employees’ requests for documents/certificates (e.g., Certificate of Employment, Clearance Certificate, etc.)
  • Plans special events like Christmas parties, town halls, etc.
  • Performs other related tasks as may be assigned from time-to-time.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or equivalent field.
  • Preferably 5+ years of experience in Human Resources General Functions.
  • Well-versed in Philippine Labor Laws.
  • Knowledge in Sprout or any Payroll System is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and Google Office Suite
  • Above average written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and willing to perform various tasks
  • Strong work ethic. Self Starter.
  • Honest - Trustworthy - Strong integrity.
