Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth through the acquisition of
new clients, strategic partnerships, and expanding market reach. This role requires a proactive, entrepreneurial spirit and a deep understanding of the insurance industry and potential clients.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the insurance sector.
• Build strong relationships with potential clients and strategic partners.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet business development goals.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
• Present and promote insurance products and services to prospective clients.
• Negotiate and close deals with clients to meet revenue targets.
• Collaborate with internal (ops) teams to tailor solutions to clients' needs.
• Track and report sales performance, customer acquisition, and market penetration.
• Participate in industry networking events, conferences, and workshops to foster business development.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the agency’s product offerings, policies, and underwriting guidelines.
• Provide regular feedback on customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities to senior management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or client management, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products and services (motor, marine, property, casualty, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., insurance trainings) are a plus.
