Guest Lecturer QA QC  

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable QA/QC Training Facilitator to design, develop, and deliver quality assurance and quality control training programs for our valued clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the training of QA/QC personnel on industry processes, best practices, standards, and compliance requirements to ensure the highest level of quality in all operations, and reinforce the importance of quality assurance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Program Development:

• Develop and implement QA/QC training programs, materials, and curriculums tailored to the specific needs of various teams, including production, engineering, and inspection.
• Ensure training content aligns with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Update and refine training materials based on changes in standards, technology, or internal processes.

2. Facilitation and Instruction:

• Conduct engaging, interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars on QA/QC topics, including quality management systems, inspection techniques, and corrective action processes.
• Utilize various instructional methods (e.g., lectures, hands-on activities, group discussions) to accommodate different learning styles.
• Train employees in the proper use of QA/QC tools and equipment, as well as documentation practices for inspection and reporting.

3. Assessment and Evaluation:

• Evaluate trainee understanding and skills through testing, practical evaluations, and assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to participants, ensuring they comprehend and apply QA/QC principles in their roles.
• Track training effectiveness and areas of the programs to improve through post-training evaluations.

4. Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure training programs comply with regulatory requirements, such as ISO standards and other quality management certifications.
• Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and competency assessments.
• Prepare and submit reports on training activities, highlighting any gaps or areas of risk in compliance.

5. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on industry trends, QA/QC methodologies, and regulatory changes to keep training programs relevant and effective.
• Gather feedback from trainees and stakeholders to continually improve training materials and methods.
• Collaborate with quality and production teams to identify training needs and develop solutions to address quality challenges.

Working Conditions:

• This position may require travel to different facilities to conduct on-site training.

Qualifications:

• Experience as QA/QC for at least 10 years
• Experience in training or teaching
• Experience in facilitation techniques
• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field
• Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma) is preferred
• Strong understanding of quality control and quality assurance principles, standards, and best practices
• Proficiency in QA/QC tools, software, and documentation systems
• Willingness to travel
• Willingness to make own training materials / PowerPoint presentation
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt training delivery to various audiences and proficiency levels
