Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic After-School Tutorial Center Teachers to join our educational program team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and committed to fostering a positive and productive learning environment. The Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction, assessing student progress, and contributing to the overall development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

Instruction and Curriculum Delivery:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards and meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Deliver engaging and interactive instruction that supports student understanding and growth.
• Utilize various teaching methods and technologies to enhance learning experiences.

Assessment and Evaluation:

• Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and observations.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievements and progress.

Classroom Management:

• Establish and maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment.
• Implement effective behavior management strategies to promote student engagement and discipline.
• Address any classroom issues or conflicts promptly and professionally.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and student outcomes.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.

Student Support and Development:

• Identify and address individual student needs, including those requiring additional support or enrichment.
• Encourage student participation and foster a love for learning.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to students as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education major in Science and/or Mathematics.
• Teaching experience with kids 3-12 yrs old.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and tools.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
