Job Description
Overview
The M&E Officer will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness, impact, and accountability of Kitabisa's ESG programs by designing, implementing, and managing the project monitoring and evaluation framework. The role involves providing technical expertise to the team, training stakeholders, and building capacity. The M&E Officer will also drive continuous learning and improvement to align with the organization's sustainability goals and mission.
Key Responsibilities
1. Development of Monitoring and Evaluation Framework
- Design and implement M&E frameworks, tools, and methodologies to measure the impact of ESG programs.
- Create and manage data collection methods, including surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions.
- Set clear KPIs and benchmarks to evaluate program outcomes in alignment with organizational and ESG standards.
2. Collection and Analysis of Data
- Oversee the collection of quantitative and qualitative data from program activities.
- Analyze data to track progress, identify trends, and evaluate project performance.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations to share findings with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Capacity Building and Training
- Train Kitabisa staff, partners, and stakeholders on M&E processes, tools, and best practices.
- Strengthen the ability of program teams to implement effective field-level monitoring and evaluation practices.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the ESG team.
4. Program Evaluation and Reporting
- Conduct mid-term and end-line evaluations to assess the impact and effectiveness of programs.
- Document lessons learned and integrate them into future project designs.
- Work with the ESG Manager to prepare progress reports and impact assessments for donors, partners, and management.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with partners, community stakeholders, and donors to ensure alignment with M&E objectives.
- Represent Kitabisa at external meetings, workshops, and conferences related to monitoring and evaluation.
6. Compliance and Standards
- Ensure that all M&E activities follow ethical practices and data protection policies.
- Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and methodologies for monitoring and evaluating ESG programs.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Environmental Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, particularly in ESG, sustainability, or development sectors.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing M&E frameworks for complex programs.
Technical Skills
- In-depth knowledge of M&E methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SPSS, Stata, or Power BI.
- Skilled in qualitative and quantitative data collection methods.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
Soft Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to train and mentor others.
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Language Requirements
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
