If you're a CPA with a strong background in retail and production finance, ready to drive results through accurate reporting, cost control, and team leadership—this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee financial statement preparation, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Ensure accurate accounting for inventory, COGS, and production costs
• Monitor production cost performance, margin analysis, and implement cost controls
• Collaborate with operations teams for timely financial reporting
• Lead the accounts payable (AP) process and maintain regulatory compliance
• Support external audits by coordinating documentation and responses
• Mentor and guide the accounting team toward performance excellence
• Provide financial insights and analysis to aid strategic decisions
• Lead initiatives to streamline processes and leverage ERP tools (preferably Acumatica)

Qualifications:

Education & License:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in accounting or finance, including 3 years in a managerial role

• Strong background in retail supermarket and/or meat production environments

Skills:

• Expertise in ERP systems (preferably Acumatica)

• Strong analytical and financial planning skills

• Excellent leadership and communication abilities
