Social Media Content Lead  

Key Responsibilities:

1. Increase social media followers for Inquirer Interactive, Inc. and partners
2. Increase social media referral traffic to Inquirer Interactive, Inc.
3. Monitors established or developing social media for potential stories, especially Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc.
4. Monitors standard media for potential social media stories, especially key websites and wire services.
5. Amplifies Inquirer Interactive, Inc. and other Inquirer content on social media, especially by promoting stories, highlighting connections, and participating in comment threads.
6. Writes social media-specific stories for Inquirer Interactive, Inc. social media platforms
7. Writes longer stories for publication on Inquirer Interactive, Inc. and other Inquirer platforms, on occasion.
8. Conceptualizes and develop features or special content for social media, including photos and video, on occasion.
9. Checking and editing of video and graphic captions
10. Leads the social media team in any content and editorial issues
11. Main contact person for social media on Central Desk
12. Main contact person for social media for Inquirer Interactive, Inc. and partner sites
13. Leads social media team in planning content for the day/week/etc.
14. Performs other related tasks as may be assigned.

• College Graduate, preferably major in Journalism or Communication Arts and/or related courses
• At least 3 years work experience in Social Media
• With demonstrable writing skills
• Active user of social media with calm online persona
• Self-starter who can be depended on for steady stream of social media content
• Deadline-beater with proven ability to write fast
• Team player committed to the credibility of the Inquirer brand
• Leader who can step up to meet targets and objectives
