AI Intern  

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic AI Intern to join our team at Healthspan. Working closely with and reporting directly to our AI Engineer, this internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting field of artificial intelligence, automation, and business process optimization.

You will help identify opportunities to leverage AI across our business processes, assist in building tools and scripts, and apply the latest AI advancements to enhance employee productivity and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

1. AI Tools & Research

• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI technologies, frameworks, and trends.
• Evaluate Technologies: Conduct in-depth research to evaluate new AI tools for potential integration within the organization.
• Tool Proficiency: Be an active and proficient user of leading AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Pod, Cursor) to maximize daily output and assist in evaluating new platforms.

2. Development & Implementation Support

• Assist the AI Engineer: Support the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions, including basic software, tools, and scripts to automate tasks.
• Technical Documentation: Help document processes and procedures related to AI implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

3. Business Process Optimization

• System Familiarization: Learn about core business processes within Remedy and other relevant systems used at Healthspan.
• Identify Opportunities: Participate in brainstorming sessions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas where AI and automation can enhance processes, products, workflows, or services.
• Translate Needs: Assist the AI Engineer in translating business needs into technical requirements for future AI solutions.

Minimum Requirements

• Technical Foundation: Basic understanding of AI concepts, technologies, and automation principles.
• Programming Skills: Basic programming skills in Python or a similar language are nice to have but not required
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, systems, and methodologies.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Enthusiasm: A genuine eagerness to learn about business processes, process improvement, and how AI can solve real-world problems.

Educational Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Prior experience with AI projects, internships, or relevant academic coursework is highly preferred.
