Software Development Manager  

• Lead and manage development projects across a variety of technologies, predominantly but not limited to Microsoft, ensuring structured and coordinated planning of the team's development efforts.
• Act as the Project Manager and Product Owner, overseeing the full delivery lifecycle of software projects, defining project scope, prioritizing features, and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Provide line management and personal development for a team of highly skilled developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Manage the delivery of multiple complex simultaneous system development projects from design through to release.
• Contribute to and understand the technical solution from design through to code level, demonstrating hands-on technical expertise when needed.
• Produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery.
• Provide regular and effective progress updates, ensuring management of any delivery risks or issues.
• Define delivery phases of projects, including activities, sub-activities, and milestones, documenting these for use in project event logs, issues and risk logs, and subsequent reporting.
• Build strong project teams and maintain robust communication on project status throughout the lifecycle, ensuring awareness, involvement, and support from key stakeholders and participants.
• Participate in reviews and meetings, providing updates on project progress.
• Take responsibility for identifying and managing risks and issues closely, driving all stakeholders to deliver on time and to the required quality standards.
• Work closely with relevant internal teams to ensure alignment and coordination across operations for seamless implementation of existing and new systems.
• Contribute to post-implementation reviews, helping to demonstrate the success or areas for improvement in projects.
• Manage and optimize IT infrastructure and cloud operations, including Azure and Microsoft services, networking, and security systems.
• Perform routine systems administration, troubleshooting, and configuration tasks. · Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to both development and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure best practices in both development and cloud operations.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in software development, cloud architecture, and project management methodologies.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Information Technology or its equivalent;

Experience

1. At least ten (10) years of programming experience in mobile, web, or desktop applications and design using, but not limited to, iOS, Android, Web, Microsoft products/frameworks, and other application development libraries; SQL and other database frameworks.
2. At least five (5) years of experience in leading a team.
3. Extensive experience in managing and optimizing IT infrastructure and cloud operations, including Azure and other cloud platforms.
4. Proven track record in project management and product ownership, overseeing full delivery lifecycles of software projects.

9. Experience in systems administration, troubleshooting, and configuration across various technology stacks.
10. Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to both development and infrastructure.
11. Experience with Payment Gateways, e-Commerce, Insurance or Financial Systems (preferred).
12. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in software development, cloud architecture, and project management methodologies.
13. Fluency in written and spoken English; additional Asian business languages a plus.
