Plays a critical role in creating, preparing, and coordinating an organization's end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness throughout the process. Their primary responsibilities include:
- Managing Procurement Processes: Coordinate the sourcing and procuring necessary materials and supplies to meet production demands.
- Coordinating Logistics and Distribution: Overseeing the transportation and delivery of goods, ensuring timely and accurate distribution to each farm, customer, or other facilities.
- Monitoring Inventory Levels: Keeping track of inventory to ensure optimal stock levels, preventing overstocking or stockouts.
- Collaborating Across Departments: Working closely with departments such as Operations, Finance, and Sales to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives.
- Ensuring Compliance and Safety: Work on and implement safety guidelines and ensuring that all supply chain processes adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
- Establish distribution Channel: Work on the connection with buyers and distribution channel
This role is pivotal in ensuring that products, supplies and bookings are produced and delivered to the right locations on time and within budget, directly impacting customer satisfaction, the activity’s cost efficiency, and the organization's profitability.
Minimum Qualifications
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background: A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: has more than 5-10 solid years of logistics, supply chain management, buyer, and booking experience. Preferably from food sector, export markets or high demand market background.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize supply chain processes.
- Leadership Abilities: Self-starter, motivated, and can lead different people to enhance the process of the operation. Will roll his/her sleeve to make things done
- Problem-Solving Aptitude: Capability to identify issues within the supply chain and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools to monitor and manage operations efficiently.
