Job Description
The position is responsible for leading and managing the successful planning, execution, and completion of technology projects, ensuring on-time delivery, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders, ultimately, driving the the achievement of the intended business outcomes in collaboration with the project owner and the key project stakeholders.
Additionally, the IT Project Manager is expected to assist the IT PPD team in the implementation & cascade, operationalization and compliance monitoring of the project delivery framework, including advocating it in the entire organization, as well as to help out in the continuous improvement of the process.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any 4-year business course
- At least 7 years of experience managing IT projects performing functions from project initiation until project closing.
- Demonstrated solid experience in various project management approaches: Traditional (waterfall), and agile (iterative/Scrum) or Hybrid.
- Advanced knowledge and demonstrated experience in Project Planning and Scheduling, Risk Management, Stakeholder Management, and Vendor Management.
- Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams of 10-20 members, engaging stakeholders from middle management to group head levels.
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering at least 2 complex projects with budgets up to 10M within 6-12 month timelines.
- Training attendance in globally accepted Project Management Standards
- Certification on PM standards is not required but is highly preferable.
