The position holder is responsible for negotiating the commercial contract requirements for RE construction projects and overseeing and managing the contracting process.
Outcomes Expected and Responsibilities:
- Provides input and recommendations on procurement and/or bidding strategy for EPC contractor to identify, submission of tender(s), and the selection of EPC and O&M contractor(s) for ARI projects.
- Ensures the identification of commercial and contractual risk, develops and implements effective mitigation strategies and actions and reports the risk and progress with mitigation strategies internally.
- Be involved in delivering contract management and administration of relevant packages during the planning, development, and construction phases
- Oversees the contract preparation process until house keeping of ARI Contracts
- Supports procurement activities for projects
- Achieve successful negotiations with customers with respect to commercially advantageous terms and conditions, prices and payment plans.
- Drafts and/or review of agreements including, but not limited to NDAs, TSAs, CSAs, Construction Agreements and Main Works Contracts
- Collaborates with the relevant internal stakeholders to be involved in contracts, claims and disputes (ex. AP Legal, AEV Legal, ARI Corporate Finance, Project Management Team etc.)
- Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and bring learnings back into new project strategies
Minimum Qualifications
- Preferably with least 3 years relevant experience
- Project management experience in relevant industries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in dealing with legal consultants.
- Advanced level negotiation skills.
- Able to communicate and to collaborate with the different stakeholders.
