Cloud Engineer  

About the role:

As a Cloud Engineer at YONDU INC.', you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based solutions to support the company's technology infrastructure. This is a full-time position based in Makati City, Metro Manila, with opportunities for remote work and flexible scheduling.

What you'll be doing:

Architect, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and platforms using leading cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP

Automate cloud provisioning, deployment, and management processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible

Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure high availability, scalability, and cost-efficiency

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address cloud-related requirements and challenges

Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Continuously research and stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices

We are looking for a cloud engineer with experience in cloud operations and a solid understanding of software development workflows. The ideal candidate should have experience or familiarity with most of the following technologies and concepts:

• Cloud Platforms: Preferably AWS EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, etc.

• Programming & Scripting: Bash, Python, or JavaScript

• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Serverless Framework

• Automation & CI/CD: AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions

• Containerization: Docker, AWS ECS/Fargate

• Monitoring & Logging: AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus

• Networking & Security: VPCs, subnets, load balancers, DNS, IAM policies

• Backup & Recovery: Implementation and strategies
