About Supply Oilfield Services Inc.

Supply Oilfield Services was founded by Mr. Louis-Paul Heussaff, a member of the French Navy and an engineer, who saw the potential of engaging in business with the oil and gas industries during the 1970s. Fated with an insatiable thirst for explorations, he did not let the world’s oil crisis derail his vision when he incorporated SOS in March 1979. The company started mainly by providing logistics support, skilled personnel, and support services to foreign and local companies engaged in the exploration and development of oil and gas resources in the Philippines and overseas. Louis Paul’s can-do attitude and learnings from his previous work missions, combined with the growing drive of the oil industry to pursue new deposits like sources at sea or offshore sites, allowed SOS to prosper as a trusted partner of the biggest multinational players, like Shell, Occidental Petroleum, Nippon Oil, and British Gas. Before the end of the 1980s, SOS had partnered with all oil companies operating in the Philippines. Over the years, operations have diversified to accommodate more sectors (construction, energy, facilities management, medical, and hospitality), specializing in three major categories: manpower, catering, and logistics and transportation. In 2022, SOS entered into a joint venture agreement with MHI Investment Holdings Inc. The new leadership made sure that the transition would continue to support the reputation and legacy that the company has built for over 40 years.
