The Human Resources Generalist plays a vital role in executing and supporting the company’s HR strategies and operations. This position ensures that HR processes are implemented effectively, consistently, and in compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
The role requires a well-rounded HR professional capable of managing multiple HR disciplines including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, HR operations, and performance management. The HR Generalist acts as a trusted partner to both management and employees, contributing to a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture that upholds the company’s values and business objectives.
- Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
- Execute the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to onboarding, ensuring a seamless and professional candidate experience.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs and implement efficient sourcing strategies.
- Maintain a proactive talent pipeline and recruitment reports to monitor progress and key metrics.
- Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding to ensure effective integration into the company culture.
- Employee Relations and Engagement
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and provide timely, fair, and consistent guidance in line with company policies and the Philippine Labor Code.
- Support the administration and documentation of disciplinary actions and investigations when necessary.
- Assist in implementing employee engagement activities and communication programs that promote collaboration, motivation, and alignment with organizational values.
- HR Operations and Compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring data integrity in the HR Information System (HRIS) and 201 files.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements including DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG reporting.
- Coordinate timekeeping and attendance validation to support payroll accuracy.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc HR reports (e.g., headcount, turnover, recruitment metrics) to support management decisions.
- Compensation and Benefits Administration
- Administer company and statutory benefits, including HMO, group insurance, and government-mandated contributions.
- Act as a liaison between employees and third-party benefits providers to ensure timely resolution of concerns and claims.
- Support compensation and benefits review activities through data collection and benchmarking analysis.
- Performance Management and Development
- Assist in facilitating the annual performance appraisal cycle, ensuring timely completion and proper documentation.
- Support the coordination of learning and development initiatives in line with identified training needs.
- Help monitor performance trends and provide insights to support talent development and retention initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Human Resource Management, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with exposure to multiple HR functions.
- Strong understanding of Philippine Labor Law and HR compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Sprout) and productivity tools (MS Office Suite or Google Workspace).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrates high ethical standards, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to task management.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and capable of balancing operational and administrative priorities.
