Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities across multiple sales channels, including retail, food service, and distribution.
The role focuses on expanding PL Aguila Manufacturing Inc.’s market footprint by prospecting new clients, opening emerging channels, and building strategic partnerships that drive sustainable revenue growth. The BDM plays a pivotal role in developing new customer segments, business models, and partnership ventures, ensuring alignment with company goals on innovation, profitability, and market expansion.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field (MBA preferred)
- At least 5–8 years of experience in Business Development, Key Accounts, or Sales
- Management within FMCG or Food Manufacturing
- Proven track record in securing new business and developing high-value accounts
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and execute plans effectively
- Highly analytical with strong financial and commercial acumen
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), CRM tools, and data analysis platforms
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial, and willing to travel extensively for business development opportunities
