Compensation and Benefits Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Compensation and Benefits Specialist who will be responsible for managing payroll and government benefits for our organization. The successful candidate will ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and benefits, as well as compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
Compensation Management:
- Develop and implement compensation strategies and structures aligned with organizational goals.
- Conduct market research and analysis to determine competitive salary ranges for various positions.
- Evaluate and update job descriptions and classifications.
- Collaborate with managers to ensure fair and equitable distribution of salaries.
Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Conduct research to evaluate and select benefit providers and negotiate contracts.
- Assist employees in understanding their benefit options and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in benefits administration.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze compensation data to identify trends and make recommendations for adjustments.
- Prepare reports and presentations on compensation and benefits-related metrics.
- Conduct cost analysis of compensation and benefits programs and propose cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain accurate employee records related to compensation and benefits.
Payroll Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, calculation of wages, deductions, and withholdings.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing, complying with legal and company policies.
- Validate and review payroll reports for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Process employee changes, such as new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile payroll and resolve any discrepancies.
Minimum Qualifications
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. An accounting graduate would be preferred.
- Previous experience in compensation and benefits administration is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in compensation and benefits.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other relevant software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
