Scrum Master Intern  

As a Scrum Master Intern, your primary focus will be facilitating team dynamics and resolving any impediments that arise. You will guide the team to adhere to Agile principles and assist with continuous process improvement initiatives. Ensuring the team follows the Scrum framework and helps them deliver a high-quality product are also key responsibilities. Your role is to coach the team, empowering them to work collaboratively and removing obstacles that could potentially hinder their progress.

Communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution will be key skills for supporting the team's agile workflow. This internship provides valuable experience in helping drive organizational agility and maximizing productivity through lean methodologies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Product Owner in overseeing schedules and milestone management.
• Ensure the scrum framework is followed, helping the development team build quality products.
• Document resource needs and availability.
• Organize and schedule team meetings.
• Accountable for overall project quality and providing management updates on product completion.
• Report to the PO on team efficiency and product quality
• Being able to lead a team but without a sense of authority.
• Obtain weekly project status from all team members.
• Primarily interacts with the development team and other Scrum roles.
• Facilitates Scrum ceremonies.
• Ensures the team is highly functional, productive, and improving over time.
• Process-centric – improving how the team works and delivers.
• Prepare and assist in project documentation.
• Monitor project progress and help with adjustments.
• Measure the project performance to suggest areas of improvement.
• Learn and use project/task management software.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Within 12 months of completing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Internship Hours:
  • Can commit to a minimum of 480 hours up to a maximum of 960 hours of internship.
• Technical Skills:
  • Know at least one programming language.
  • Can understand modern software development.
  • Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools/software quickly
• Attributes:
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills
• Work Location:
  • Willingness to render internship in an office-based setup located in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
• Priority for Academic Requirement:
  • Internships fulfilling academic requirements are prioritized.
  • Students must have the necessary internship requirements ready.
