E Commerce Accounting Assistant  

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive E-Commerce Accountant to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about finance, online sales, and inventory management, we want to hear from you!

What you will do:

a. Financial Data Entry:

• • You will be responsible for accurately recording financial transactions related to online sales, refunds, and payments into the accounting system.

b. Reconciliation:

• • Perform regular reconciliations of online sales records with payment processor reports to ensure accuracy.

c. Expense Tracking:

• • Track and categorize expenses related to e-commerce operations, including advertising costs, shipping fees, and technology expenses.

d. Accounts Receivable:

• • Monitor and manage accounts receivable, ensuring that customers' online payments are processed promptly and accurately.

e. Inventory Management:

• • Assist in maintaining accurate records of inventory levels for online products and updating these records as new stock arrives or is sold.

f. Compliance:

• • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies, especially as they relate to e-commerce transactions.

g. Communication:

• • Collaborate with other departments, including the e-commerce team and finance department, to resolve financial discrepancies and provide support.

What we are looking for:

• • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is typically required.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and online payment processing systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel applications is necessary.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are crucial for this role.
