- Systems Administration
- Administer, configure, and maintain Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments
- Manage user accounts, licensing, email, collaboration tools, and system policies
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of enterprise systems
- Knowledgeable with systems such as Odoo ERP, Jira, Confluence, Notion, Kaseya, Datto, and the latest AI technology available like ChatGPT and Gemini
- Administer, configure, and maintain PABX, CCTV, Door Access, and Security systems
- Backup and recovery of key organization systems and databases (Airtable, PostgreSQL, etc.) using systems such as Synology and VEEAM
- Network Administration
- Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure using FortiGate, Ruckus, Cisco, and TP-Link Omada technologies
- Configure and maintain firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and network security controls
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network availability
- Identity and Access Management
- Implement and manage identity and access controls, including user provisioning, role-based access, and authentication mechanisms
- Enforce security policies such as least privilege, MFA, and conditional access
- Regularly review and audit access rights to ensure compliance and security
- Cybersecurity and Risk Management
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices
- Implement security hardening, vulnerability management, and incident response measures
- Monitor systems and networks for security events and respond to incidents proactively
- Team Leadership and Management
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of systems and network professionals
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of operational objectives
- Promote continuous improvement, skills development, and adherence to IT standards
- Monitoring, Troubleshooting, and Support
- Proactively monitor systems and network infrastructure to identify and resolve issues
- Provide advanced-level troubleshooting and support for escalated technical problems
- Ensure minimal downtime and quick recovery from incidents
- Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, network configurations, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements
- Support audits and assessments related to IT systems and security
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation
- Evaluate new technologies, tools, and best practices to improve system performance and security
- Recommend and implement enhancements aligned with business needs and strategic goals
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any related field
- At least 5 - 8 years of professional experience in IT Administration, Systems Administration, or similar senior IT-related roles
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments and enhancements
- Strong understanding of IT service management, documentation and other best practices
- Strong hands-on experience in network administration (LAN/WAN, Firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Strong hands-on experience in cloud platforms (MS365, Google Workspace, Kaseya VSX, etc.)
- Proven experience in IT security principles, access controls, and endpoint protection
- Proven experience in working with backup solutions, disaster recovery and business continuity
- Familiarity in management web hosting environments and other system deployments
- Familiarity in scripting or automation tools (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
- Exposure to cybersecurity tools, compliance requirements and other monitoring systems
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent command of the English Language (both written and verbal) and able to explain technical concepts concisely and clearly
