Cost Accountant  

The cost Accountant will play a crucial role in analyzing our production costs, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and profitability. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Analyze production costs and variances to ensure accuracy and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Prepare and maintain product cost standards, including material, labor and overhead cost savings.
• Collaborate with production and procurement teams for monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies.
• Assist in the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts and analyzing financial data.
• Conduct regular audits of manufacturing process to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Support budgeting and forecsating activities by providing insights into cost drivers and trends.

• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
• Have a least a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, such as Finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft and ERP system, and with experience in SAP or similar software preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles, including standard costing and variance analysis.
• Detailed-oriented and organized, with commitment to accuracy and completeness in all work.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work in Pasig City.
