We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our AI-powered estimating
business. This role involves using advanced AI tools (proprietary to the company) to generate precise material take-offs from building plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Read, interpret, and understand construction blue-prints and US building codes
- Understand construction methodology and apply knowledge to estimating projects
- Utilize AI estimating software to produce material take-offs for construction projects.
- Collaborate with the team to improve estimating processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of American residential construction techniques and/or relevant experience
- English Language: Advanced fluency reading/writing and speaking, technical documents;
- High School Mathematics: Very high proficiency
- IT: Microsoft and Google Suite expertise
- Technical aptitude, problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, spatial intelligence
- Bachelors Degree: Science, Mathematics, Engineering (Computer Science, Civil,
- Structural, Electrical)
- CAD software experience
