Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Marketing and Communications
- Develops and leads the annual AGSB Marketing Plan, defining strategic priorities, major campaigns, and performance targets
- Develops and recommends program- and campus-specific marketing strategies to promote the different programs and tracks of the AGSB by following the principles and guidelines set by the Dean and Marketing Advisory Council, while considering the needs of each program, track, and satellite campus
- Creates and presents an annual marketing calendar anchored on strategic marketing themes and details corresponding campaigns, timelines, and activation plans for each theme
- Conceptualizes and executes integrated marketing campaigns, including above-the-line and below-the-line initiatives, to increase brand awareness and student enrollment
- Leads the conceptualization and design of marketing collaterals and activation events in coordination with Satellite Campus Directors and Program Directors
- Develops and recommends content of press releases, print ads, and AGSB communications across all platforms in coordination with the Communications Officer and Marketing Advisory Council
- Oversees AGSB’s social media and digital presence to ensure brand and content consistency, engage audiences, and drive program awareness and enrollment
- Conceptualizes, plans, and implements relevant marketing events, both on-campus and offsite
- Oversees and ensures the integration of the different databases for each part of the Marketing and Sales Funnel
- Brand Management
- Ensures AGSB’s brand purpose and value proposition are consistently reflected across all communications by establishing brand standards, reviewing materials, and enforcing proper use of logos and messaging in compliance with UMCO policies
- Identifies potential brand ambassadors from AGSB alumni and students and features them in marketing campaigns and collaterals
- Analyzes AGSB brand survey results and communicates insights and developments to the Dean and the Marketing Advisory Council
- External Relations
- Gathers and analyzes market intelligence, including competitor strengths, weaknesses, pricing strategies, and competitive advantages, to identify new business opportunities
- Identifies funding sources and prepares sponsorship contracts for marketing initiatives and business development opportunities
- Identifies and cultivates partnerships with brand-aligned organizations to support AGSB promotion and visibility
- Expands market reach and client databases for business and entrepreneurship programs through participation in industry forums, conferences, and student discussions
- Section Management
- Sets the direction of the Section and determines its operational goals in alignment with the School goals, Office goals and Cluster mandates
- Oversees the development of Section policies and provides inputs for the development of the general Office policies
- Prepares and monitors the Section’s budget and expenditures
- Consults and coordinates with the Assistant to the Dean, Associate Dean for Admin and Student Services, and the University People, Team, and Organization Development Office (UPT&OD) on regulations, policies, and relevant documents pertaining to the recruitment of new hires, development, performance coaching, and retention of staff
- Oversees performance management of direct reports
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor, or any authorized representative
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Administration and Management: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
- Strategic and Operational Leadership: Demonstrates expertise in setting strategic goals and policy directions, managing budgets, and ensuring alignment with overall University objectives
- Project Management and Program Development Skills: Proficient in project management techniques and methodologies, with the ability to oversee the development and implementation of programs
- Marketing Skills: Knowledge of digital marketing platforms and tools, design applications, and market research techniques and databases; Ability to develop and execute marketing campaigns across different platforms
- Content and Brand Management: Ability to align brand identity and content standards across marketing materials; Ability to maintain a strong and consistent brand identity and reputation
- Communication Proficiency: Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills, effectively conveying information and ideas, excellent writing and copy-editing abilities, and the ability to understand and write basic communication plans and strategies
- Data Management and Analysis: Ability to analyze and interpret marketing/ communication data, including social media and web analytics, and media monitoring information; Knowledge of data analysis for market study
- Technology Savvy: Ability to create, consume, and utilize digital media; Familiarity with social media and networks, email marketing, and search engines; Proficient in standard computer operating systems (i.e., Windows of MacOS), Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Applications, etc.
- Presentation and Visualization Proficiency: Skilled in developing high-impact presentations and visuals using platforms such as PowerPoint, Canva, and other communication tools
- Coordination Skills: Proficient in proactively organizing, mediating, and managing actions among diverse stakeholders to achieve collaborative goals effectively
- Interpersonal and Influencing Skills: Demonstrates diplomacy, negotiation, and collaboration in managing relationships and driving alignment among varied stakeholders
- Problem Solving and Decision-Making Skills: Ability to analyze problems and create appropriate solutions; makes good decisions and practice good judgement

- Sponsor and Partner Management: Understanding of sponsorship agreements, branding requirements, and donor relations

Education and Experience Requirements:
- With a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communications or a related field
- A post-graduate degree in Marketing or Management is preferred
- With at least five (5) years of experience in marketing, advertising, communications, or public relations
- Work experience in both corporate and educational settings is an advantage but not a requirement
- With at least three (3) years of experience in leading a team
