The Project Assistant will assist the Lead Coordinator for Graduate Education Digital Transformation Efforts in crafting the groundwork for ODeL. These include:
- Auditing Higher Education resources (i.e. technology and facilities, people, processes, strategies, and culture) that may contribute to the University’s Digital Transformation efforts.
- Coordination with all relevant committees in reviewing existing academic policies and in drafting new policies that align with innovative teaching modalities to support the University’s Digital Transformation agenda.
- Identification of Schools, Departments, and Programs interested in developing courses with properly designed online components, as part of the broader initiative to advance the University’s Digital Transformation.
Principal Accountabilities and Project Deliverables:
- Assist in the research efforts in assessing online courses
- Assist in coordinating with SALT for readiness check for instructional design and materials development
- Assist in coordinating with OVP DITS for readiness assessment of current available technology resources
- Assist in crafting survey tools to gauge real interest and commitment in developing online courses
- Collect and analyze the results of the survey conducted
- Assist in coordinating with relevant committees (i.e. Curriculum Committee, Graduate Programs Committee, etc.) for Graduate Programs in drafting policies for online programs
- Assist in finalizing findings, policies and recommendations for approval of the school body
Minimum Qualifications
Education, Competence, and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with IT and Education background
- Preferably with experience in E-learning in Higher Education
- Knowledge of the Ateneo Curriculum Process and CHED Regulations in Graduate Education, ODeL and Microcredential is an advantage
- Good Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Proficient in Google Suite and familiarity with E-Learning methods and technologies
