Job Description
Under the supervision of the Director for Mission and Identity, the Program Coordinator effectively strategizes for, implements and manages designated OMI programs. S/he also liaises with respective units and their point persons for the proper execution of projects and interventions.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Program Management
- Strategizes and plans for programs that address formation needs and desires of employees
- Ensures the proper implementation of programs and projects assigned
- Evaluates the program(s) and makes necessary changes and adjustments for improvement
- Oversees the Program Assistant tasked for the particular program and ascertains the proper performance of responsibilities
- Budget and Financial Management
Prepares and proposes the budget of the program
- Accounts for the responsible use, disbursement and liquidation of all financial matters related to respective program(s)
- Ensures payments to and from OMI are processed properly and in a timely manner
- Ascertains the correct and prompt distribution of honorarium and/or tokens to human resource complement of the program(s)
- Ensures the security of the program budget
- Monitors expenditures and costs as well as manages money matters to correspond accordingly with the approved or target budget
Coordination and Liaison
- Represents the OMI to external individuals and offices in relation to the program
- Acts as main contact person of resource speakers and other human resource for the program
- Liaises with respective unit(s) and unit point person(s)
- Ensures proper knowledge of the unit(s) assigned and represents, discusses and initiates/advocates formation interventions for them within the OMI
- Coordinates with other OMI personnel for programs and projects that include the unit(s) assigned
Facilitation and Process Management
- Acts as main or process flow facilitator for OMI programs
- Sees to the proper carrying out of processes and program flows of formation endeavors
- Strategizes on effective facilitation and process management of programs and activities
Performance of other office-related tasks that may be assigned by the OMI Director from time to time
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of any 4-year course
- Previous work experience in the Ateneo de Manila or familiarity with the Ateneo de Manila educational system is an advantage; knowledge and experience of Ignatian Spirituality is a plus
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and internet usage
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good command of both English and Filipino languages
- Must be hardworking, systematic and able to cope well with short deadlines & significant pressure
- Has initiative and can work with minimum supervision
- Competency in facilitation
