This position is responsible for the safe and efficient daily operation of the plant, reliable delivery of energy, and upkeep of the whole site. Leads the engineers in assuring the good condition of the asset by executing timely work on plant equipment in a safe and environmentally sound manner, within quality, schedule, and budget objectives. The Grid Supervisor is functionally responsible to the Grid Manager.
- Supervises daily operation or task functions including customer liaison, preparation of the operation and maintenance planning and execution of plan.
- Responsible for attaining the site related targets with respect to the generation, technical performance, reliability, QEHS programs of the site.
- General PV plant operation, maintenance, inspection, supervision and coordination.
- Control, monitor and report PV plant operation, preventive and corrective maintenance against schedule and plan.
- Supervises operation and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with the Scope of Work and quality objectives of PV plants.
- Coordinates all technical reviews both with stakeholders and internally within the PV plant.
- Regularly provides clear reports to Grid Manager and Management
- Effectively communicates with the design team, related organizations, OEM and third parties regarding technical, operational, and regulatory specifications and/or requirements that are necessary for the safe and efficient O&M of a solar PV power plant
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Engineering preferably Electrical Engineering
- Bachelor’s Degree with PRC License, preferably REE
- At least five years experience in similar operation and maintenance for power plant.
- Preferably with experience in Photovoltaic-Solar Farm
- Familiar with EPC contract and warranty/performance management of large infrastructure or power plants
- With background and experience in maintaining a power plant facility
- Proven experience in Photovoltaic-Solar Farm is considered a plus
- Proven experience in Power Plant operation and maintenance
- Familiar with EPC contract and construction management of large infrastructure or power plant
