What you’ll do:

As a PostgreSQL Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining PostgreSQL databases. Your typical day will involve monitoring database performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing database configurations to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems
• Monitor and maintain PostgreSQL databases to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and errors.
• Optimize database configurations for improved efficiency.
• Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity.
• Implement security measures to protect database systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest PostgreSQL features and best practices.

Here’s what you need:

• Required Skill: Proficiency in PostgreSQL Administration
• Strong understanding of database management systems.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization.
• Knowledge of SQL and query optimization.
• Experience with database backup and recovery.
• Familiarity with database security and access controls.
• Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery.
• Experience with PostgreSQL monitoring and troubleshooting

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in PostgreSQL Administration.
• This position is based in Manila.
• Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
