What you’ll do:

As a Sybase Database Administrator (DBA), you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Sybase database system. Your typical day will involve monitoring database performance, optimizing queries, and ensuring data integrity and security.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Manage and maintain the Sybase database system.
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries for improved efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate measures.
• Perform regular backups and recovery operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and errors.
• Collaborate with application developers to design and implement database solutions.

• Required Skill: Proficiency in Sybase Database Administration (DBA).
• Strong understanding of database management systems and concepts.
• Experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Knowledge of database security and data integrity.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
• Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
• Experience with other database systems such as Oracle or SQL Server
• Additional Information:
• The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Sybase Database Administration (DBA).
• This position is based in Manila.
• Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
