- Designs, trains, tests, and evaluates machine learning and deep learning models based on business requirements.
- Selects appropriate algorithms, frameworks, and training techniques to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Conducts feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and model experimentation.
- Documents model assumptions, limitations, and performance metrics.
- Works with Data Engineers to acquire, clean, structure, and prepare datasets for model training and inference.
- Deploys models into production using standard MLOps workflows and tools.
- Conducts research on emerging AI technologies, architectures, and frameworks that can drive innovation.
- Ensures that models follow responsible AI principles, fairness standards, and bias mitigation practices.
- Works with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Clients to clarify AI requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field.
- 2+ years of experience in machine learning, AI engineering, or data science.
- Experience in building and deploying production-grade AI or ML systems.
- Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning, and deep learning models.
- Solid understanding of large language models (LLMs), including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, embedding generation, and vector search.
- Expertise in machine learning models such as regression, classification, clustering, ensemble methods, sequence models, and transformer-based architectures.
- Proficiency in Python and related AI libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, Hugging Face, and NLP frameworks.
- Strong understanding of cloud AI services and MLOps tools such as AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI, MLflow, and Kubeflow.
- Knowledge of data pipelines, APIs, microservice architectures, and model deployment patterns.
- Understanding of responsible AI frameworks and model governance practices.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate complex problems and design effective AI solutions
- Demonstrates effective communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong collaboration and teamwork to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Must be adaptable and willing to learn new tools and technologies as the field evolves
- Ability to document work clearly and maintain accurate records of models, processes, and results
- Must be proactive in solving problems and identifying improvements in workflows or system performance
