Position Overview: Channel Distribution Officer

The Channel Distribution Officer is crucial in cultivating and maintaining relationships with Channels and Partners to generate new sales and meet revenue objectives linked to these collaborations. This position demands proficiency in solution presentations, pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and closing deals—both independently and in partnership with collaborators.

This role serves as a client acquisition specialist, steering efforts to enhance business performance and fuel growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Engage in prospecting, cold calling, and conducting presentations to assess client needs and secure business at the enterprise level.

- Achieve and surpass designated revenue targets.

- Identify and maximize revenue opportunities to manage and grow market share.

- Utilize VCP's CRM system to maintain a strong sales pipeline.

- Craft customized proposals to close opportunities at the C-level.

- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail while managing multiple key accounts simultaneously.

- Cultivate deep client relationships across various organizations and generate referrals.

- Review and improve sales-related documents, including proposals, contracts, and agreements.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven history of surpassing sales quotas in a trading company.

- at least 5 years experience in channel development role in retail or B2B distribution

- Demonstrated capability to acquire new business through direct sales or partnerships.

- Self-motivated with a talent for developing business objectives.

- Ability to excel with minimal supervision.

- Possess a positive, resilient, and professional demeanor.

- Strong business acumen, integrity, and a commitment to excellence.

- Analytical with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
