- Gather and analyze user requirements for Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based solutions, and design appropriate technical approaches to meet those needs.
- Design, develop, test, and monitor AI and Machine Learning (ML) models for various use cases, including but not limited to prediction, classification, segmentation, and process automation.
- Develop end-to-end AI/ML pipelines, from data collection and model training to deployment in production systems.
- Collaborate in developing web applications or systems that integrate AI components using Python or other AI tools/frameworks.
- Carry out development processes in accordance with the company’s applicable SDLC.
- Develop responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Build and manage databases.
- Design and implement APIs.
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues, and document problems along with their solutions.
- Collaborate with developers, data analysts, and business teams to ensure AI solutions align with company needs and policies.
- Collaborate with internal or external teams to produce software design and architecture.
- Actively participate as technical support within AI solution development projects.
- Maintain proper documentation for projects and other relevant documents.
- Provide input and recommendations on the latest AI/ML technologies that can be adopted by the company.
- Recommend policies, guidelines, or procedures related to the ethical, safe, and responsible use of AI technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or proven experience in projects or activities related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions
- Understanding of software development processes using SDLC methodology, both Waterfall and Agile Development
- Experience in AI/ML-based projects using Agile or Waterfall approaches.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams (data, business, IT) with strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong skills in programming, algorithm logic, and problem-solving.
- Ability to design databases, queries, and functions (minimum SQL Server 2019 and MySQL).
- Advanced proficiency in Python programming, particularly for AI contexts such as pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks such as Django and Flask for integrating AI models into applications.
- Familiarity with front-end programming languages such as HTML5, Bootstrap, jQuery, CSS, React.js, and AngularJS.
- Familiarity with server operating systems such as Windows and Linux.
- Understanding of API principles and ability to develop and manage APIs for AI model deployment.
- Ability to create technical documentation, including model documentation, API documentation, and other project documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Ability to produce functional applications by writing clean code.
- Ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code for other teams.
