- Set clear and measurable sales goals and objectives, performance metrics and KPI for the team.
- Develop and implement a data-driven sales strategy to expand our reach and market share in the wine industry.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and coach a high-performing Key Accounts Managers.
- Conduct regular sales performance reviews with the President and provide ongoing feedback to motivate and develop the team.
- Work with the President in identifying new sales leads and opportunities for wine distribution across hotels, restaurants, and retail stores.
- Oversee the sales budget and manage expenses effectively, work with the Finance Director with this.
- Analyze sales data and reports to identify trends and develop strategies for improvement.
- Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and develop new business partnerships.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics related to wine sales.
- Work with Importation and Procurement with the Accreditation of Hotels and Restaurants account.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree a plus
- Experience in the wine industry
- Can manage a team of managers
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
