Assess credit applications Recommend applications for approval and decline Submit credit applications Order and check valuations, credit files and credit assessment calculations Monitor service level agreements Process loans to meet contract deadlines Coordinate with the Sydney-based Credit team regarding issues/progress Check data encoded by pre-credit staff Input and update data in the systems Answer credit related enquiries Adhere to KPIs Perform ad hoc tasks as deemed necessary by Management

This role handles assigned accounting functions pertaining to the day-to-day operations of the business. It is a complex and multi-faceted role where the incumbent needs to display strong time-management skills and ability to multi-task. This is a high-paced role where the incumbent will experience significant demands and pressure if he/she is unable to competently manage the daily workloads and duties. Responsibilities: Handle the day-to-day operational accounting functions Prepare / process the following: Book of Accounts, Monthly Financial Statement, Journals, Month End report and Balance Sheet Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information Assist business with regulatory reporting requirements Maintain financial security by following internal controls Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements Prepare internal regular Financial reports to management detailing overall financial position of the the business Responsible for the compliance of annual audit requirements by preparing year-end Financial Statements supported by Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss schedules Experience with tax accounting and preparation Timely completion of work in accordance with the reporting timetables Action other tasks or duties due to business exigencies or as deemed necessary by management to achieve business goals

Key Responsibilities: Review mortgage applications for accuracy and compliance from start to finish. Assess documentation, financial histories, and property valuations thoroughly. Ensure applications are complete and meet underwriting requirements. Provide summaries and feedback to improve application quality for mortgage underwriters and administration teams. Collaborate with compliance officers to identify risks and ensure adherence to regulations. Help develop and uphold quality assurance guidelines and procedures. Attend team meetings to discuss findings and process improvements. Keep accurate records of assessments and necessary follow-ups. Stay updated on mortgage regulations and industry best practices while identifying areas for improvement and training. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively with internal stakeholders. Uphold the principles of Treating the Customer Fairly (TCF) and Consumer Duty.

Principal Accountabilities: Prepare monthly SPV reports Prepare and distribute payment instructions for SPV payments, or other required payments. Prepare daily and monthly cash reconciliations Assist with preparing weekly SPV drawdown requests Assist with the improvement of existing processes and the development of new processes Ad-hoc portfolio analysis and other treasury related tasks or projects Actioning other tasks or duties due to business exigencies or as deemed necessary by Management to achieve business goals
