Production Coordinator  

What You’ll Do:

1. Manage job orders assigned to subcontractors, ensuring they align with the production plan. Address any concerns or barriers that arise to keep everything on schedule.
2. Prepare and share regular production updates to track order progress against the manufacturing plan. Keep all teams informed about developments and timelines.
3. Create and oversee daily pickup and delivery schedules with subcontractors, ensuring an organized flow at our Issuing and Receiving departments.
4. Monitor activities at Warehouse 26, including receiving, quality control, and dispatching.
5. Suggest and implement better processes to improve subcontracting workflows and overall efficiency.
6. Work with subcontractors to negotiate fair pricing and allocate styles based on their capacity and expertise. Assign tasks and decide on repair timelines for in-house or subcontracted work.
7. Partner with various departments, including Purchasing, Product Development, Quality Control, Cutting, and Warehouses, to ensure smooth operations. Stay in touch with sales teams to provide updates on order status and delivery commitments.
8. Update the Production Database daily to maintain accurate records and ensure efficient tracking.
9. Assigned Roving QC to Subcontractors.
10. Attend team meetings and support additional tasks or responsibilities as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: A degree in Industrial Engineering is a plus.
• Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing garment production.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, especially when working with subcontractors.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities to handle production schedules and logistics.
  • Proven experience in price negotiations and workflow coordination.
  • A collaborative mindset and attention to detail.
  • Expert in MS Excel application.
