Job Summary
The Business Central & Power BI Technical Specialist is responsible for the configuration, customization, integration, and reporting of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power BI. This role focuses on translating business requirements into scalable system solutions, ensuring accurate financial and operational reporting, and maintaining data integrity across systems.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Core Focus)
- Configure, customize, and maintain Dynamics 365 Business Central modules (Finance, Purchasing, Sales, Inventory, Projects, etc.)
- Develop and modify AL extensions and manage system customizations
- Support system integrations (e.g., APIs, third-party tools, Excel, Power Platform)
- Troubleshoot functional and technical issues, including posting errors and data inconsistencies
- Manage system updates, testing, and deployments
- Provide technical documentation and user support for Business Central processes
Power BI & Reporting
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for financial and operational data
- Develop efficient DAX measures and calculated columns
- Perform data modeling and transformation using Power Query (M)
- Connect Power BI to Business Central and other data sources
- Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and refresh scheduling
- Translate business questions into actionable insights and visualizations
Data & Systems Support
- Ensure data integrity between Business Central and reporting tools
- Assist in defining KPIs, metrics, and reporting standards
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Leadership on analytics needs
- Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests
Kualifikasi Minimum
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills (Must-Have)
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Experience developing or maintaining AL extensions
- Strong experience with Power BI, including: DAX, Power Query (M), Data modeling
- Experience working with ERP financial and operational data
- Knowledge of SQL and data structures
- Experience with system integrations and APIs
Nice-to-Have / Advantage
- Experience with Azure, Power Automate, or Power Apps
- Background in accounting, finance, or ERP implementations
- Experience supporting end users or conducting system training
- Microsoft certifications (Business Central / Power BI)
