Senior Platform Engineer  

A Senior Platform Engineer designs, builds, and maintains the essential infrastructure (like cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes) and tools that empower software developers to build and deploy applications efficiently, focusing on scalability, reliability, and automation, often leading projects and mentoring junior engineers in areas like AWS, Docker, and backend systems. They bridge DevOps and software engineering, creating a stable "platform" for other developers.

Core Responsibilities

• Build ingestion framework, Flex Templates, event triggers, metadata store
• Infrastructure Management: Setting up and managing cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) or on-prem environments.
• Automation: Automating deployment, monitoring, and scaling processes (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code).
• Platform Development: Building internal tools, APIs, and portals for developers.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Guiding junior engineers, code reviews, and technical problem-solving.
• System Reliability: Ensuring high performance, monitoring, and health of production systems.

Key Skills & Technologies

• Minimum of 5 years working experience in Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Terraform and Python.
• Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
• CI/CD: Gitlab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Languages/Frameworks: Kotlin, Java (Spring), Python, Go.
• Databases/Messaging: Kafka, SQL/NoSQL.
• Best Practices: DevOps, Microservices, Security

• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Terraform and Python.
• w/ relevant work experiences in Build ingestion framework, Flex Templates, event triggers, metadata store
