IT Business Analyst | Urgent  

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end business process analysis, mapping, and optimization across various IT and business functions.
• Gather, validate, and document business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to define scope, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement sessions with business partners.
• Support solution design by analyzing current vs. future state processes and identifying gaps.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
• Participate in UAT planning and execution, including test case validation and defect triage.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, requirements, and system changes.
• Provide insights based on data gathering, analysis, and reporting when needed.
• Ensure alignment with organizational standards, compliance, and best-practice methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience as an IT Business Analyst in a mid to senior capacity.
• Strong experience in end-to-end business process mapping, workflow design, and requirements analysis.
• Proficiency with BA tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio/Lucidchart, and office productivity tools.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and documentation standards.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver quality outputs.
• Insurance industry background is a plus, but not required.
