Responsibilities:
A school counselor provides social, educational, career and personal assistance to students. He/she frequently offers advice and career counseling to students about emotional problems, academic challenges, subject options, technical or trade schools, colleges and universities, giving them information on such things as applications, admissions, college entrance exams and financial aid along with teaching job-finding skills. A school counselor is also often involved in peer mediation and conflicts between students. If a student has adjustment issues, the counselor works with school administrators, teachers, social workers, parents and the student to solve the problems.
Kualifikasi Minimum
Qualifications:
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Candidate must hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology
- At least one (1) year of working experience in the related field is preferred for this position
- Knowledgeable regarding child and adolescent development
- Have strong communication and presentation skills, adaptive, and a self-regulated learner
